Some of you guys read my earlier post about my dilema. I sold a firearm to a guy in Wisconsin and posted the wrong model number. Anyway, I guess things are never as bad as they seem. He finally answered me tonight. He was caught in the snow storm that I have been reading about for days. It never occurred to me how mother nature might be affecting him. I am so glad I wasn't a total dick when I told him the deal was done. He had already decided to keep the S&W but did not have his labtop to let me know. I'm glad I offered to do the right thing and I'm glad he decided to stay with our deal. We even wished a Merry Christmas for each other and our families. I just thought I'd let you guys know how it turned out.

Thanks again for all of your advice and input.

I have a hunch most gun guys are pretty level headed and upstanding.

Great, I was waiting to hear how things turned out. I've found that overall us gun folks are a little more laid back as long as its not outright purposeful misrepresentation.

I will, I won't. I'll take it but maybe not. It's for me, if it was just a little different but I really like it. I think I'll take it, I'll let you know tomorrow. I definitely want it, I'll let you know when I decide. Could you send me the serial number?

Gun guys are humans too and unfortunately there's just as many morons as there are in the rest of the population. I've dealt with my fair share.

By the way, glad to hear it all worked out. I hate situations like that when you're at the mercy of somebody else. I was thinking worst case scenario was that he might take you to small claims court...
