Hi guy just signed up and can already see that there is alot of great info here.
I am a Semi mechanic love shooting reloading homebrewing beer and lots of other random things.

I bought my first semiauto a few months ago. an XD 5" tactical in .45 and I love it before that i had only ever shot wheel guns and long arms.

Thanks for a great sight

Welcome! I was (roughly) in your neck of the woods last night and this morning (Arapahoe Rd & I-25). Not a bad little town you've got there.

A semi mechanic; eh? Does that mean that you just start the job but never complete it ? You should consider being a full machanic. <I joke> As I've been trying to tell the rest of the members here for some time: I'm funny dang it!

"there is alot of great info here." - Brother, you don't know the half of it. If there is anything about firearms, especially the AR platform, that you want to know about, I feel confident that there are lots of folks here who can get you the answer you need. The first step is to ask!

You thanked us for a great site, but in reality, it's all because of folks such as yourself who get on and participate that make it so great, so don't hesitate to join in the various forums and add your own contributions.

I've been encouraging new members to check out the site Terms & Conditions (aka Site Rules (http://www.co-ar15.com/forums/showthread.php?t=11113)) right away to get you acquainted with the few things we expect. There are many rules, but we are pretty serious about enforcing them and knowing them up front can save you from grief later.

Once again, welcome to the forums!
