I want to see if anyone here is or knows a real estate attorney or knows anything about trusts.

Long story short.

My dad dies in 04/09
09/09 when i get back from Iraq and my grand mother gives me and my brother two pieces of land. I(and my wife) take one and my brother takes the other.
11/10 my grand mother "does not remember" giving me the other piece of land.
12/10 I get letter from her attorney saying they want both pieces back, because "the deeds are not effective conveyances because the property had perviously been transferred into your grandmother's trust"
I call and they (attorney's para legal or who ever answered the phone) says it was part of a revokable trust.

She signed these to me and my brother on Quit Claim deeds signed at a notary.

This issue was facilitated by my aunts as my grandmother does not speak english, i don't speak spanish. I have a feeling they may be behind this some how.[Rant1][Rant2][Rant1][Bang][Bang][Bang][Rant1][Rant2]

I have a fairly good attorney that I've used several times that deals mostly with family related issues and lots of wills and trusts. If your interested in his info just let me know. Although he's located in Bailey. That might be a problem. He could give you free consultation over the phone about the issue anyway.

It wouldn't be so bad if it was a week after, its been a year. They said we went to pay the taxes and found out. Yeah? what about last years taxes who paid that.... my brother.

Whatever I don't even like that side of the family.

I have a pretty good lawyer, I used a few times, mainly family-related issues and a lot of wills and trusts. If you are interested in his information just let me know. Although he's in Berry. This may be a problem. Anyway, he can give you the phone for free advice on the issue.

SPAMBOT's are getting more intelligent. I find this type of re-quote/misquote all the time on this site.
