So I am looking at an upper that comes with a free float round handguard on it. My question is this, how do you mount a bipod to it? Drill holes in the handguard and mount a sling stud? I have been looking, but I haven't been able to find anything yet. Here is the upper I was looking at for reference. It has no holes. I don't want a 20" bull barrelled rifle that I cannot put a bipod on. If I have to add something that's fine, I just haven't seen anything.

Here's what you're looking for:

Simply mount it on the front rail section, then attach the bipod to it.
And that's a sweet looking upper.

Kind of eliminates the purpose of the free float handguard though.
It is a sweet looking upper I thought also. And at $290 for a 20" bull barrell free floated upper, even if it is junk it was worth a try.
Definitely need the bipod though. 20" of bull barrel is one heavy mofo.
