I know the .41 Special isn't an officially recognized cartridge, but...

Assuming, for the sake of argument, I might be considering racking up a credit-card bill and purchasing a S&W 357PD.

I know it's not going to be fun at all with full-power loads. Do any of the big-name makers sell any "wimpy" .41 Magnum loads?

Do any smaller "boutique" ammo stores sell .41 Special or lightly-loaded .41 Mag?

Maybe a 210gr @ 850fps?

Huh, I guess MidwayUSA does sell .41 Special brass.

At $1/each.

Yea, that .41 stuff can run some $$$$. kind of the reason I haven't acted on My impluse to get one yet. :)

Yeah, I'm seriously broke and I'd sort of been telling myself I wasn't going to use the credit-card this month.

But I've been watching SS&S for that revolver since April....

Plus another ~$250 in brass & dies & bullets & Dillon stuff to load it.

Not bashing S&W but this is the first time I ever noticed this on their site

" (Night sights are available for Law Enforcement Only.)"

Whats up with that S**** crappy policy if you ask me.

OTOH 357PD looks like a nice pistol buy it so we can test it for you.

I loaded up some Remington 200gr semi-jacketed HP's with Starline brass and ~6gr of titeGROUP last night.

Now I just need my revolver back!
