How is this caliber developing? The ballistics look good. Is it ever going to be a more commercial round? The ammo I see for sale is expensive. Reloading yourself would be the best option but I would like to see some one sell loaded ammo for a more resonable price. I know it would never be as cheap as milsurp. Happy New Year! Craig W.
Alexander Arms has the copyright/patent/everything on this round.
I doubt it will every go very far if they wont even allow Joe Blow gunsmiths to buy reamers for it.
However, if you just neck up a 6PPC and blow out the shoulder a bit...
Kinda like the 6.8 SPC. Three years from now it will be all but gone.
The Grendel won't be gone,,but RIP 6.8 SPC/remmy
Well it's SHOT show time and DPMS,Sabre Arms, as well as Wolf are now on the Grendel "band wagon",,as well as others, all licensed from AA[Alexander Arms]
26rd functional mags are now availible too.Oh sorry for those in unfriendly states/municipalites

Honestly, I don't REALLY know where the 6.5 Grendel "fits" for me.
I still think it's neat though.

So let me get this straight... at SHOT we saw the same number of companies offering 6.5 Grendel stuff, that we saw offering 6.8SPC stuff a year ago.. and this proves that 6.8 SPC is dead. Yeah, that makes sense...
