Just figured I would let you guys know of a shop here in town that I personaly feel has the potential to make it huge in this state. They have a good selection that is constantly growing, They sell used guns for USED prices and new guns for less than most.

They have great customer service with a master Gunsmith on site that will explain anything and everything you would want / need to know. They have been open for a little more than 3 months and just want to create a good loyal customer base and with the experice I have had with them that shouldn't be a problem.

Lets just say they do everything oppisite of a well bashed shop here on the forum (cough cough Gunsmoke, cough cough). I would say stop in and give them a try. Here is their info:

Freedom First Firearms
110 West 70th Avenue
Denver, Colorado 80221
303-428-4700

BTW I was just a customer and not a paid spokemen for this company. [Tooth]

Oh, now that site is just funny. What did they do to piss off their web developer?

I guess the kid was a real flake to begin with and they said that he did that to show how the inventory would look and now they cant get a hold of him to get it fixed.

They have asked me to redo the site so when I get a second I will get into the shop and start taking some pictures to get that page fixed as a temporary fix untill I can build the new site.

+1 for FFF. They were great, and close to home is nice. He even gave me a CO-AR15 discount, via referral from Mazin. Thanks!

I stopped by there the other day and they mentioned I was the third person in the past day or two from co-ar15 checking out there store. They even mentioned you Mazin and confirmed that they will offer a discount to co0ar15 members.

I checked some prices but they didn't have what I was looking for in stock.

Nice guys, and they mentioned their web site and all of the fine squirt guns available.

I went down to freedom first firearms to take a CCW class. And I will tell you if they keep going the way they are they won’t be around long.
First I got there 15min early, There was one other student and the instructor Dick, He had about 14 guns out on the counter. Before the class got started dick went to the rest room leaving me and the other guy alone. I found this disconcerting, any one could have ether cleaned them out or put live ammo in any of the guns.
So here’s how the class went, a ½ hour of Dick’s introducing him self and gun safety. Then 1 & ½ hours of different guns that sounded more like a sales pitch at which time Dick is handing the guns around to students. And no he did not clear the guns first and one lady was muzzle flashing her kid, next we had what I can only call a bull scion that had little to do with CCW. After this I just left I had enough. The next day I called Dick to talk about the class. I told him I was looking for a CCW class and not a gun and bull class. And that I did not feel that that he was not focused on safety and the law. He said the that was in the packet he gave us and that the students stayed after to get there questions answered. Well no kidding he didn’t answer them in class. Dick offered to give me the name of a class that would be more of what I was looking for. So I asked him, what is the best CCW class around? And he said and I quote “Rich Wyatt at Gunsmoke has the most highly regarded CCW class in Denver” . With that said I went to see Rich and got into one of his classes. And I must say I think dick is right. Rich cover safety extensively and he had a lawyer come in to talk about the law. He was organized and to the point. He didn’t waist my time with useless BS. If freedom first is going up against an outfit like Gunsmoke I don’t think they will be here long.

The second I saw that this poster was located in Wheat Ridge, I knew that he was a shill for Gunsmoke. What a sham/e.

WOW, It must be nice being able to judge all those books by looking at there covers.
Look I know that there are some of you out there that like to bash Gunsmoke. But it does not change the fact that what I said is the truth. If you don’t think so that’s your right but if you are going to bash a company do it from your own experience not from what some one ells said or herd,
Which from what I have seen on here is what a lot of you are doing.

As far as the GS issue I think that horse has been rode hard, put away wet and needs to go the glue factory.
I have two friends that went to RW's CCW classes and said it was a total waste of money.
There are much better classes out there for the money, especially considering the critical nature of the class subject.

I have dropped into Freedom First a couple of times and although the only interaction with any of the staff was "Hi" that is the extent of customer service so no real opinion.
They didnt have much for a selection and it seemed to me the used prices were too high, especially considering the condition of a couple items i.e. a well used Bushy A2 20" for $899?
I will agree if there are poor handling practices of firearms that is not a positive note.
If they are going to be succesful we will know in a year or so.......

No, but if 95% of the population thinks Mr. Obama is a socialist a$$hole, and I know the people and respect their assessment, I will give that opinion serious weight.

The gunsmith you guys are talking about, Dick, was previously employed by Gunsmoke. He left there to work at Freedom First. He now, no longer works at Freedom First.

They are currently transitioning over to a new gunsmith. Any problems you might have had in the past, I hope you'll give us a chance in the future.

Sorry to her that. Where did you go for your hunter safety?

Went through Dicks Sporting goods(I worked there at the time) and Caught the class at the end of my shift. They guy did not even talk about hunting or firearm safety, just rambled on and on and after 4 hours I got my booklet to fill out. Went back to the DOW for the live fire and it SUCKED there were about 10 people there and the guy teaching the class had a bunch of rifles/pistols/shotguns out on a table and he was no where to be found. The class went on for about 6 hours when it was only suppose to be like 2 hours

I've had the unfortunate experience of going into Gunsmoke on more than one occasion. They sell beat up, shit guns, for too much money; and the employees are assholes. Is that personal experience enough for you?

If Rich was such a legal eagle, then he probably wouldn't be taking people's money BEFORE they pass a background check, then refusing to refund their money.

Nice enough Guys, decent selection. Its not a big box store, but if you are in the area you might want to pop in and see what they have to offer for yourself.
