Anybody Going to see Slim Cessna Tonight?

I generally stay home New Year's Eve but decided to go to the Bluebird Theater to see Slim Cessna's Auto Club tonight. My wife is talking about going but I doubt it.

They're an obscure, but great, band. Just wondered if any other board members will be there.

I think it'll be much better than sitting your ass for the holiday. Going anywhere isn't really an option for me this year (first time in a long time).

SCAC is one of my favs! There is no way in Hell I'm driving to Denver tonight, though. Hopefully they will make a CD of the show.

The show was one of the best concerts I've ever seen.

I don't know if it will be recorded - but it should. They have a new CD scheduled for March and they will probably have a release concert. They played a lot of new material and it was great.

I think half the crowd was from out of the Denver area. I know some of the hard core fans and met a guy from France and a Scot. Came all this way for a couple of concert! Also met people from Boston & Seattle.

I haven't been out on New Year's eve for years. I think I might do it again. Most serious drinkers were taking cabs to local motels. I saw lots of cops on my way home but no drivers that looked drunk.
