That is absolutely horrible, RIP and prayers to her family. Good riddance to the POS, glad he won't be draining our tax dollars in prison, likely living a better life than he was before.

Man, that really sucks. At least he got swift justice. What a POS.

This is horrific. My prayers go out to this fallen deputy and her family and to the township police officer who was also shot. I also pray that the deputy's children are old enough that they will be able to remember their mother.

I'm at a loss for words. The evil in the hearts of man is becoming more and more unrestrained. Sadly, I think we'll be seeing a lot more of this sort of thing happening. If so, God help us all.

May you rest in peace Deputy Hopper.

Very sad. I was watching this on the news this morning. Prayers to the officers and their families.
I too am glad the scumbag received the correct punishment swiftly.

I'm glad he's dead. But somehow it just doesn't seem like a fair trade...his life for hers. Sucks.

I wish I could have been right next to the camera person with my rifle. This kinda shit makes my blood boil. [Mad]

I just realized that the ground to the left of the trailer is blurred out...and why. :( That's terrible.

I am hoping that is the only reason they didn't shoot the propane tanks on the front of the trailer and light his ass up straight to hell

I Dont know that there is a Heaven.
I hope there is, and I hope this fine Officer is there, Free of pain and suffering.
May her family find peace and comfort. May her Colleagues find solace in the justice they dealt today.

May the piece of human waste find eternal torment.

Unfortunately she really didn't really stand a chance. These guys need to train a bit more on cover vs. concealment. The second injury could have been prevented by the proper use of cover. Yes I understand that they had one of their fellow officers lying there dead and they feel a sense of urgency but the sheet metal of another trailer is not cover. Check out the back side of the suspects trailer. All of the officers rounds tore right through it. Just something to think about for anyone who could possibly be put in this situation.
