Sounds like a great reason to take half a day off and come visit you, Ginsue.

I'd love that! It's been too long.

Of course, I'm looking forward to shooting with you again!

Okay, Ginsue, I have tomorrow afternoon off and plan to be there sometime around lunch, -ish. Now I just have to hope we don't have some sort of major aircraft maintenance emergency until after I get out the door....

I'll be there looking to meet any and all of you who can make it. I'll be wearing a black & camo mix ball cap with a military looking mustache and in need of shaving my chin (growing my goatee back - just started).

I'm definitely planning to make it, but have a quesiton. I seem to always pick the most busy times to take the family there, so is there a better time than other? Morning, evening, etc..?

Thanks and I'll try to find you and say hey. I'll be the guy with an entourage of 4 females in tow (wife and three duaghters).

Also, does anyone know if there's any place that offers discount tickets? Gets spendy with all the crew coming along.

Had a lot if fun. Lots of alaska fishing booths. Some stateside stuff and some africa and canada too. Plenty of fishing booths.

My dad and I both join RMEF. Sweet knives given when you join. Also got a couple eagle claw fishing reels. Only $20 each and they came with a free spool of line.

Food was good but pricey. About $15 each with a drink so plan ahead.

Lots of new atvs and utvs. All dodge and a few ford trucks. No gm stuff except for guys who do custom work. Several campers as well. I wish I was around as I would have entered the bugling contest.

The wife even had fun! Took us about 5 hours total to go through everything and stop at several spots to figure out an alasaka fishing trip.

As for discounts the only thing we had was the postcard I got in the mail for $2 off. A guy actually came up to me in the ticket line that had extra tickets so I got a couple for $10 each!

That was enjoyable. Fly fisherman's paradise, and quite a bit of stuff for waterfowlers too. Not much gun stuff. I did get to visit with Ginsue, and enjoyed talking with him a lot. Best thing I did was take the light rail in from a park and ride!

Well, if this morning was any indication, the folks were lined up quite a ways back waiting for it to open but disappeared (the line) about an hour later. I wish I had seen your post sooner (was in bed when you posted since today was a LONG day and didn't check this site before heading out).

Today wasn't too crowded as I expect tomorrow to be (it was PACKED on Saturday last year). Sunday should be busy, but not as busy as tomorrow will be.

No place for discount tickets that I'm aware of.

I hope that helps. Remember to stop by the Rocky Mtn Elk Foundation (RMEF) area if you come by on Saturday after 2PM and look for me. I'l be wearing a denim RMEF shirt and a black & camo (on the left side) ball cap.

Aw man. I've been wanting to meet you for a long time. I wish I had been there yesterday to get that chance. Next time.

I'm also glad to hear that you (and your dad) are now RMEF members. I really believe in their mission of protecting habitat.

Glad you enjoyed the show!

I don't have to go looking for trouble, 'cuz Troubl(co) comes looking for me.

Today was a VERY long day and by the time I left @ 9PM my dogs weren't just barkin' they were gnawing at my ankles.

Even though I haven't had much of an opportunity to check the various exhibits out yet, I had a great day. The absolute best part was talking with Troublco. For those of you who have met him, I'm sure you'll agree that those who haven't had a chance to meet him are missing out on a treat - great guy! (Even if he isn't as good looking as me - but, then again, I'm used to that! [Tooth]). I'm looking forward to having a drink with the gentleman some time soon. [IT"S NOT A DATE; OKAY STUART? [ROFL1]]

I hope to get a chance to meet some more of you tomorrow. Remember that I'll be there from 2PM - 8PM!

UGH!

Getting ready to go back up there today for 8+ hours.
