Apparently both he and his daughter were detained briefly by the Hollywood police (taken to the precinct) because they got into such a violent verbal confrontation with each other in their Hollywood hotel that the hotel had to take action.

He might have a great voice, but he was homeless for a reason and that can't change overnight.

That sounds pretty judgemental. I've personally walked that road and it's loaded with speed bumps. He went from homeless to a bunch of money in a very short period of time not to mention the media saturation. I'm not defending bad choices but there's a lot more to his addiction than meets the eye. The homeless "Golden Voice," Ted Williams, whose story was followed worldwide, abruptly left rehab Monday and headed for the airport, according to TMZ.
He had agreed to go to Origins Recovery Center in Texas for drug and alcohol dependency two weeks ago after taping the Dr. Phil TV show.
The gossip site said Ted's girlfriend is in rehab at Safe Harbor (http://www.safeharborhouse.com/) in Costa Mesa, Calif.
