So I am at the local goodwill looking around......I walk up to the glass display case and see something black and tactical in a plastic bag. I ask the lady to show me the item, on the sticker it reads" CQB KIT". I see the price of 9.99, so I buy it. I get to the car open up the bag and open it. Inside is an OTIS IWCK brand new. I go to the OTIS website and it's listed for 774.00, I about fell over! guess I'll do that more often!

Great find! Although IWCK doesn't sell for that much! Great find still.

I bet some dude is pissed off! His wife (ahem or ex) probably dropped it off at Goodwill w/o knowing what it is.

I don't understand how a few copper brushes can sell for that much.

I've had many an item from Goodwill go straight to ebay at double or better. If I was among the unemployed, a daily trip to Goodwill would be on my plate. A tip if you shop at the one at Washington just south of 104th: the 50% off color of the day changes on Thursday.

I know, like the dude who went to the Garage sale and bought a box of stuff only to find a million dollar gem stone in it.

Nice find! My dad once bought a brand new pair of Danner boots for $3 at his local goodwill.

Nice! I'm sure there's a GF or Wife somewhere who got an earful when the poor dude found out what happened...or will soon![ROFL1]

That is very cool and a great score, but Jesus Christ, $772.41??? For a cleaning kit?

it might be a replica made in china. hmm wow how can a $724 item dropped into $9.99 .. This reminded me of this story. A guy bought a brand new 911 Porsche for only $500 on craiglist from a woman due to his husband is going on a vacation with another girl lol..[ROFL1]

$774 might be what the government pays for them but you can find them surplus for $60-$80. Still a great find for $10. Looks like a nice kit.

ARC and Goodwill are great money savers if you don't think your above it and I'm not [Beer] Take your time and it's amazing what you can find. I find the ARC on Washington and about 90th to be about the best. Salvation Army AT 104th and Washington has closed recently.
