Valentines Day is right around the corner, time to start thinking about the perfect present to keep you out of the doghouse!

For the month of January Altitude GunWorks is offering Pink teflon coating for the same cost as our standard matte black. Depending on what you are having done, this is typically around a 10% discount. On top of that, I am offering CO-AR15 Forum members an additional 10% discount. This special on the pink stuff expires on Feb 1st. Any gun that comes in before Feb 1st is guaranteed to be back to your door before Valentines Day.

She'll Love It!

That looks nice and all, but if I did that to my wifes PK380, it would be then that I would be in the dog house... [ROFL1]

What would be the cost? Say something like the glock you did there

Spyder,
I understand, my wife is no fan of pink either, that's why my little Glock got to be the demo for the pink and not her S&W 642. We do have lots of other nice colors:)

Sniper7,
For teflon coating a stripped slide in matte black I charge $90.00, Slide and all parts including the barrel is $125.00. All the metal parts for a handgun like a 1911 is $195.00. If you want any color other than matte black, it is an additional $25.00. These prices include all disassembly, coating all metal parts other than springs and reassembly. Return shipping varies depending on what you send and the size of the box. Typical turn around time is 2 to 3 weeks.

How well does this coating hold up on a daily carry?
As opposed to duracoating?

I haven't done any in pink for anybody that carries them daily, but it should be very durable.

The matte black is extremely durable, significantly better than duracoat, and in my opinion, just as good as Cerakote(which I also apply). All in my opinion are better than most factory finishes. As with all coatings, the devil is really in the prep. Duracoat when applied to a properly prepped surface will do fine and Teflon or Cerakote when applied to a poorly prepped surface will be junk. The majority of my time when coating a gun is spent on prep, application of the product is actually pretty quick.

Run it through it's paces and if you are not totally pleased with it, I'll stand behind it and make it right.
