Just finished a project. This was an old amplifier out of a circa 1955 Magnavox console. Replaced all the caps and resistors and updated the circuit some. Then made it look half way respectable. A full 12 Watts of power. [Coffee]
First pic is cleaned up and the starting point.

Nice job, Jerry. Looks good.
I have an old Zenith Transoceanic radio that was my Dad's, and his Dad's before. One of these days I want to clean it up and get it operational again. I have a pretty good size box full of NOS tubes I acquired and have been sitting on to see if any are usable for it. And if I can find it, I have a tube tester around somewhere. Maybe this year sometime...
You're going to be the only guy rocking out after the EMP.
Also, I sent you another PM a few days ago.
Nice work. if you need anyone to restore your vinyl let me know.
Looks like a fun project. Now go rattle some windows. [DJ]

I still have my 1962 Silvertone guitar/case amp combo (http://cgi.ebay.com/Vintage-RARE-1962-Silvertone-Amp-Case-1448-Guitar-/260715532605?pt=Guitar&hash=item3cb3db513d) that uses the 12AX7 tube... 15 watts of 0.15 THD!!
