So I'm looking at craigslist the other day and up pops "Tactical Tomahawk" I click on it. Guy has a RMJ Tactical Tomahawk for 200.00 , I call him and 1 day later I'm the proud owner of a brand new S 13 Shrike with papers and Kydex sheath. I'm a Happy man.

So I'm sitting here thnking that it looks cool and all, but for the price I'd want something that I'd really use to justify the cost.
My questons is: What would you use something like that for?

Well, to take pictures of and then repost it on Craigslist of course! [Tooth]
I had no idea that they cost so much that $200 is a good deal on one.

I asked myself that very question after I spent the same amount on a Buckmaster 184. Now it just sits in my safe.

I did the same thing before posting in this thread the first time. It's exactly like what I thought it was.
I think they're cool and all, but I wouldn't know what use I'd find for it. Especially if I paid that much money for one.
Probably make quick work of the close-range zombies though!
I hate you. I've been wanting one for a while now but can't bring myself to spend four hundo on one. Two hundred I'm all over though. Never thought I'd see one on CL though. Nice find. Congratulations. Jerk...
You know they make fake versions of those right? Like fake jerseys and Jordans and everything else? Hope you didn't buy one of those...

Look familiar? They make all the other ones also. Can't find the same site that I saw them on before. I know you can find these for about $30 to $40 buck though.

Were you trying to get ahead of the Assault Tomahawk Ban?
Waiting for the high capacity tomahawk legislation.

Oh crap I need more hawks [ROFL1]
I think it would be to much work to use a tomahawk. Why would you want to use all that energy chopping someone up when all you really need to do is pull a trigger with your finger and keep on walkin or stay on couch.[Tooth]

A tomahawk is more involved and = more fun. I actually only use a sledge hammer with 6 inch spikes welded on but that is just a personal preference.

think about the movie "the patriot" tomahawk was pretty nasty there, plus you never have to reload your tomahawk, although iv never used and auto tomahawk so those could be different[ROFL1]

I just don't understand the desire for this? What exactly would you use it for other than a wall hanging? Especially for the price?

If you ever see one of these on craigslist, get it is priced good:
http://i1119.photobucket.com/albums/k629/OldGeezerStuff/misc/russkie1.jpg
It's a Russian Survival knife/machette. I picked up one in a complicated trade years ago and my son was playing with it on a camping trip and found it really chopped up wood. The only thing the axe was better for was splitting. I've used it since for brush clearing and trimming and the blade is still like new.

The money was burning a hole in your pocket. It looked cool. The quick instant thought of taking off a zombie's head passed through your mind, and then, you had to have it. Of course now reality has set in, and shit, what the hell did you do?
Should make a nice wall decoration in the man cave though.

Aawww damnit! Now I am gona have to go out and get a few... [ROFL1]

howdy all. I got those picks of my tomahawk and ill post them from flikr.com as sniper suggested. I've been dealing with the death of my good friends son's untimely death. His name was Nathan Romero and he was 20 years old. Please pray for the Romero family and the Padilla family through this rough time. We all go to the same church and my son and nathan were good friends.
