I think that applies to any and all branches and anyone that has to perform any level of Maintenance.

Ive seriously seen a Multi-Billion dollar military communications facility "Break down" because of a $300 Air conditioner built circa 1970-something rebuilt god only knows how many times since then.
I Seriously looked at this thing and was Like "What friggin Podunk redneck double-wide mobile-home did we steal this shit from."

My LT seriously started laughing... CO wasn't amused
There was an Airforce tech Sgt there that had to walk away Laughing.

It took NINE Days to find another mobile home to steal one from and then get it to the Middle east.
All because they didn't put a friggin refrigeration cooling mechanic in our Como unit
