We need to gag all the scientist that keep coming up with "disasters are coming". One after another, we get super flu's, viruses, global warming but they seem to care less about the real problems like uncontrolled immigration, national dept, limitless entitlements for all.....

Who are these "Scientists"? The nerds that got picked on in grade school getting their revenge?

We must begin emergency construction immediately!

On a fence to keep refugees from escaping into adjoining states......

On the other hand, now we have another thing to root for in addition to fires, earthquakes, landslides, tsunamis, and liberal eating bacteria.....

Nope, they're either Bill Hicks or Tool fans:

Why the hell should we (they, in this case) worry about something else that could happen now, or not for hundreds of years? Oh, right, so those same scientists can spend more tax dollars finding the next big problem after that. Like the Supervolcano under Yosemite. Whatever.

I have an idea for a catastrophe. Take half of what we're spending for welfare, and use it to build a SuperFence on the border. Concrete 20' deep and 20' tall, with a depressed center walkway for troops or the border patrol, bunkers built in, and make that sucker 10' thick with a rock/sand fill. The Great Wall of the United States. That'd be a catastrophe for the left AND the illegals...

You forgot the imbedded shards of broken glass covering the wall on the southern facing side.

Nah. Too third world. Besides, all the walls I saw like that had the glass in the top....

Build the fence a 100 yards inside the USA border with auto turrets to take out anything that moves within the 100 yrds. Ya - to many video games made me this way.

Rather than 'auto turrets', just put an on-line video game up that allows users to connect to a turret, and target them...[Coffee]
(what you save on targeting systems you'd spend on ammo very quickly)

but given the current political climate, I think the "Superstorm" is more likely than "the great wall of USA"

I think you've just invented a combo next generation video game and reality show in one.

I like the idea.

Now if you took this and made it a monthly subscription service like Comcast, you could get it to pay for itself. Just make sure you put a per-day cap on the # of rounds each subscriber can expend, or make more rounds an extra-charge option...

"scientists warn"
"experts agree"
"many say"
"some believe"

journalistic bullshit.

One could only hope for a 'superstorm' in California...I'm still waiting for the massive earthquake that's been predicted to make L.A. and SF fall into the ocean....lol

If you want to be in awe of songwriting, look up the lyrics and background to Wings For Marie and 10,000 Days.
