How do you get refferals?

I have been looking and cannot find / see where it says how a member gets refferals / what they are. Anyone?

To obtain the info below I clicked on "FAQ" in the blue menu bar across the top. In the "Search Word" of the "Search FAQ" window I typed "referral"...



Another useful email function is the ability to send a friend a link to a thread you think they may find interesting. Whenever you view a thread, you will find a link somewhere on the page which will allow you to send a brief message to anyone you like. Your referrerid is added to the link you send, so if your friend registers on this forum as a result of viewing the link you sent to them, your referrals total will automatically be credited!

It wasn't actually my intent, just a bonus I guess [Tooth].

I was wondering the same thing about a year ago and found it the way I described to you.

My intent was to show you and everyone else how I found it so when folks forget how to do it they may remember where to look for it. Also, it was a way to introduce the "FAQ" section of the site; useful tool.
