I don't get to the big city but once a year. I'm thinking about going to Eagle Firearms Saturday. I'm also into Cowboy Action weapons. Is there a store down there that I should not miss while I'm in town? Thanks in advance for any leads.

Haven't been to these in awhile but, they use to have a decent selection of cowboy stuff. Best of all they're are in the same general area.

The Gun room- 1595 Carr, Lakewood
Gunworks of Colorado- 3355 S. Yarrow, Lakewood

I haven't been Here, But I have heard some good things about them

Frontier Gallery LLC- 1500 S. Broadway, Denver

Hope that Helps. If You get to Frontier Gallery, Do a Review. :D

Thank you very much. I will give a sit rep when I get back. Sorry if there is a double post. Something gummed up in the cyberworld when I tried to send this.

P.S. I was so focused on Eagle Firearms (AR) and the cowboy action stuff that I forgot to ask: Is there another AR store that I would be stupid to miss while I was in town? Thanks again.

If you have time and don't mind the drive go check out Jensens in Loveland.

I bought a Knight's 600m rear flip up buis that I couldn't seem to find anywhere else. The people at Eagle were nice and helpful.

The gun room was nice. Had lots of SAA but none of the rifles I was looking for. I like the ambiance.

L&L guy was nice, but just your regular old brick and mortar guns and miscellany.

Could not find Marins.

Did not go to Ward's because I had already started heading south and the five year old was carrying on.

Could not find the Shootist and I'd like to strangle Mapquest.

I found Frontier Gallery. It was a store inside another store (an antique store) and, looking through the windows, it looked like exactly what I was looking for, with one problem: He was gone to Vegas for a show and he took his inventory with him. DAMN!

Oh well, maybe next year.

Thanks for the leads, though. All in all, a good trip just for Eagle Firearms.
