I know someone who shoots PALMA, but I cannot find any specific meaning of Palma? I understand the sport, just looking for what the name means.
googling hasn't helped.

Wow, long read. Thanks for that. I couldn't find anything. Its not an acronym of anything I guess. Very interesting.

Targets at 800, 900 and 1,000 yards.
Coats and slings.
Manly stuff.
I shoot it every once in a while, but use a bi-pod and a scope called F-Class. And as a bonus the NRA specifically outlawed suppressors at any of their matches. So I only shoot the Remembering the Heros matches.
