01/22/2011- Third Child Was Born , 7.6 lbs, 22" w/o stock.
(Long but MUST read)

Today 01/22/2011 marks a historical moment in our family. It is the birth day of my third child, the newest member of the Adams family.

My beautiful lady was actually scheduled to be induced at the end of the month, but since she was having a lot of REO contractions, I decided that we should not wait any longer.

It was a feeling of anticipation, excitement, edgy, happy, and nervous all mixed into one. The same feeling I had previously, and yet have not gotten used to it. As I mentioned, this is my third - yet it felt like the first time again.

So this morning, I was awakened by Moxie, our bulldog, barking at the porch door as if it would accept her voice command. It was 4:30am, I let her out and tried to go back to sleep. There I was, laying on the bed, with million thoughts going to different directions. The room was dark, I reached out next to our bed, where our 2nd child was laying so peacefully, well asleep. I wondered how she would feel. Her whole world would undoubtedly change in just a few hours as she was no longer the youngest of the family. We tugged her between us, and gave her a gentle peck, and we fell asleep.

A few moments later, the alarm went off and our long day began. First, after breakfast, we stopped by Micro Center, to buy a wireless modem for our laptop. I then thought of going to CO-AR15 checking on the trade offers or perhaps commenting on whatever the rant of the day. But, I knew better, on days like this, I better be by her side, accompanying her throughout - to show her moral support to face the upcoming pain.

Fast forward few hours...

So when we arrived, I was ushered into the same room where my first and second ones were born. So many things going on in my mind. So much so that I almost missed Jason (Our very own COAR15 member, TDYRanger). Jason was there to drop off a new glass. He drove to meet me there once he heard that I have to be here.

Fast forward few minutes...

It felt like time had stopped. I was assured they would let me know when they are ready for me. With that assurance, I left the room, and went to have Pho. Was I selfish to leave and attend to my hunger instead? No, I was so anxious that I was making the good practitioner nervous. And so I waited...

The time....

As you can see, the new guy already got his glass thanks to TDYRanger. I was really proud of my other two as there wasn't any signs of sibling rivalry. Both my first and second hugged and kissed LEO upon seeing him for the very first time.

I thanked Rob and Mike @ Bowers Tactical for an uneventful labor and fast delivery I am certainly blessed with a wonderful gift. Though a newborn cannot express love verbally, I certainly could feel a connection with LEO each time I look through his sight.

A look that says, "Daddy, don't tell mommy you got me!"

This quick write up is no way to promote the professionalism by the great folks over at Bowers Tactical, nor would this to promote their great pricing and availability, nor you should know that Bowerstactical (http://www.bowerstactical.com/store/) is located off Arapahoe and Yosemite in DTC and that they are open Monday - Saturday from when Mike wakes up til 5pm or so, nor would this write up to get 40% off on my next order.

Ken, what a beautiful story.

I always love to hear and see newborns like this.

I'm not actually crying here, just got somethin' in my eye man.

Congrats Ken - I hope you and the family will be very happy (especially if the wife doesn't find out too soon).
