You may have caught the news that a bomb was found in Spokane along the MLk march route. Or you may have missed it.

SEATTLETIMES.COM (http://seattletimes.com/) - A bomb left along the route of a Martin Luther King Jr. Day parade was sophisticated, with a remote detonator and the ability to cause many casualties, an official familiar with the case said Wednesday. The bomb, which was defused without incident on Monday, was the most potentially destructive he had ever seen, said the official, who spoke on condition of anonymity because he is not authorized to release information about the investigation.
"They haven't seen anything like this in this country," the official said. "This was the worst device, and most intentional device, I've ever seen."

I'm just curious why this one is getting almost no press coverage.
I remember the bomb found in Atlanta and the news coverage was wall to wall. The patsy 'terrorist' they caught a couple months ago got pretty good coverage. This one, you have to search hard to find the scattered few articles about it.
wtf?

I was wondering the same thing. Only idea I have is the truth did not fit the narrative someone wants to project.

Could the press have come to their senses and stopped inflaming and over sensationalizing the stupidity of others?

Naw!

On one hand I am surprised they didnt play up the "big white racist republican gun nut", but they may have been following the messiah's orders and keeping people calm? Maybe they caught the guy and he was another lib whack job so they didnt want more bad PR [ROFL1]

Just because I want to live in a world full of daisies and everyone farts rainbows, doesn't mean I'm delusional.

Exactly what I was thinking. They caught the guy, or saw "COEXIST" and "Obama/Biden 2008" bumper stickers on the bomb before it made the news cycle.

My guess is that there is some reason to believe the bomb was planted by an Islamist and not a Tea Party member (or schitzophrenic white guy that could be spun into a tea partier).

Even so I'm honestly surprised that the media didn't make a bigger deal about this one either, if nothing else for the shear sensationalism of it.

Another forum I was on brought it up, and I got in on the thread before they started saying it was probably the Tea Party :p

it was found a liberal sympathizer was behind it so the media shunned it away like they did with Bill Ayers and figured he was "educating" people.[Swim]

I never even heard of this, thanks very much for posting it. I usually hear about all the stuff I read on here, on NPR.
