I wonder if this will change anything at all.

http://www.infowars.com/seattle-activist-wins-case-against-tsa/

It's hard for me to tell, but this article might be written with slight bias to it.

Phil Mocek of Seattle was told by TSA goons and police at the Albuquerque Airport on November 15, 2009, that he did not have the right to use a video camera in a public space outside a TSA Gestapo zone. He was also told that when goons ask him for ID, he must comply or the police will be called. Mocek was arrested for disorderly conduct and concealing his identity.

Wow..Stu... infowars??? Really?

EDIT: Sorry Stu, I didn't mean to negate from the topic. The story is valid obviously.

WOW, I Believe they call this crapping on someone's thread.
Infowars pushed it out because the popular media would like you to sheep up and comply with everything the security guards say. If Popular media advocates "Unruly behavior" and "Disturbing the peace", as they called it in the Video. The next thing you know the security guards and police will have to abide by the bill of rights and, well, we just can't have that happening

Back to topic.
I am glad to see ruling. Justification of civil rights violations in the name of "The Process" have gone on too long.

alex jones is a nutball.

but that video is egregious and I'm glad Mocek won his case.

[insert extremely inflammatory negative remark concerning the TSA, specifically regarding what should happen to the pukes in the video, here]

I agree with foxtrot about alex jones.

but if anyone watches that video and still thinks things are A-ok, well then IMO you got problems.

google Steve Bierfeldt.

this guy was hassled by the TSA because he had $4700 cash in his possession.

unbeknownst to the TSA he recorded the entire conversation with his phone.

I'll disagree. I really appreciate it when people point out any AJ links. Unofficial policy, I kill them all. Have for years, both this site and my own. Ever since his 9/11 conspiracy stories. I'll let this one be the exception, because I'm feeling warm and fuzzy today (and because irv himself noted the potential for inaccuracy from this source)

This is the man that published stories on "super thermite found at WTC story" AKA 9/11 was perpetrated by the evil GWB and the Jewish nation or whatever. FYI, there is no such thing as "super thermite". Theres Iron II oxide, Iron III oxide, and bullshit conspiracy thermite. There's your three types according to textbook chemistry. And Alex banked on the latter.

Not only that, but when a murderous SOB killed several Philadelphia police officers who just showed up at his door right about the same time, AJ's public statement to the media was along the lines of "When they come for our guns, which they will, this stuff is going to happen". It's about as close as you can come to someone publicly saying killing LEO for no reason is ok.

As far as I'm concerned, the validity of ANY story is in question if it is sourced from AJ, and though I never wish malaise on someone out of moral principle, I have to admit he would be an excellent candidate for a terminal disease. At the very least, he can **** himself.

To anyone: If you can, find the story at a legitimate news outlet outside of AJ and then post it. If you can't, there's a pretty reasonable chance I'll nuke it. If you get all in a tussy about it because AJ is your holy bible, you need to wake up to reality and see the big picture of what he actually publishes.

I Like to think I am a big boy and can tell when someone is FOS... please let me decide for myself.
Even a broken watch is right twice a day... he might happen to be right about a few things.

I do not condone censorship in any form. It implies fear of information.
Whether the information is correct or incorrect I think is up to us as adults.

I really am disappointed to hear that a site that advocates one amendment is so negative against another.

You are kidding right? The same news was in my inbox from google news. It was all over the place. As far as IW.com, I have my own run-ins with inforwars and AJ folks.

1st one - through their forum, I was invited to an Aryan Nation gathering at a certain bar by the DIA. You have met me Guy, so you can appreciate my dark sense of humor as I did show up just for the heck of it.

2nd and final straw was when AJ and his sheeple condone the cops shooting early last year.

This has nothing to do with the topic on hand, I agree with you as far as govt intrusion into our private and civil rights. However, I do make certain judgement on anyone who thinks highly of AJ and his IW.com.

Lets just agree to disagree on this one. [Beer]

1) Sorry about the Info Wars link, I got it from Drudge. I knew there is a stigma about Alex Jones, but didn't remember what and I was pretty sure it wasn't that White Supremacist website. I forget what that one is called, but I usually catch it and don't bother to read anything from it.,

2) I must have been tired to type "losses."

3) Oops again. Foxtrot, you can kill the link if you want, doesn't bother me.

No one ever said I had placed any value on either of them

you ASSumed.

Like most mature responsible adults, I Saw a story, I read it, I Checked for other sources on both the left and the right, compared, contrasted considered both sides and Then...

I Made up my own Mind.

If I Judged content based solely on a single source or content you "published" I wouldn't talk to most of you.

Fact, many other media outlets published the same story. I picked on Stu for using Infowars as a source, you defended Infowars and made an ASSumption as of why Stu quoted the source. Stu actually clarified this, and now you are just trolling.

true or not, TSA are the scum of the earth. they are proud of the zippos and small pocket knifes and mean looking nail files they confiscate
I deal with these retards on a weekly basis. they do their job. that is all I can say for them. I don't hate the people that do the job, but I hate the name, I hate the bullshit they do, the crappy work they do, the worthless security they make me walk through, the scrutiny they have the power to put me through, the searches they conduct, and just basically the entire premise that they really think they are going to stop terrorists.

All they pull off is keeping the every day thugs from taking a bowie or a 9mm from getting onto a plane and causing havoc. The real worry doesn't come from the every day retards like that. It comes from the planned out attacks by smart people where they use what they have to get a job done.
