Anyone have suggestions on where to go and have a barrel cut and have a comp perm attached in Colorado springs area? This would be for an ak build. Price? Thoughts opinions on doing this appreciated. Thanks!

Hickman Rifles.... about $100 I think if you already possess comp.

if you will be cutting the barrel to shorter than 16 inches then the shop will need to remove the barrel for this work and reinstall it after the flash hider is perm attached. they would do this as not to have a temporary illeagal sbr. now that is not really a hard thing to do (removing and reinstalling an ak barrel from a finished gun) but make sure the place you take it knows ak's so they do it right. i have a limited knowledge of gunsmiths in colorado especially ones i'd consider ak smiths (i do my own work and have many friends with lathes and mills that are gun savy) a couple to talk to that i can think of would be bp tactical and machine gun tours but i believe they are both in the denver area.
edit: that 100 dollars to shorten thread and perm attach comp sounds fair as like i said to do it leagally it will require removing and reinstalling the barrel. how much shorter are you wanting to go anyways? amd 65 length? (12.5 inches)
Is Pete (aloha-something) still around? I had him pin and weld an AR barrel with a phantom and it turned out very well.

if pete aloha is the same coloradoan that did the aloha .308 ak build that's documented on gunco then i would take it there in a heart beat if it were me
