I've had the Glock for awhile and my wife isn't comfortable shooting it so we're going to be looking for something else. What's a good price check for this? It's probably got around 2,000 through it

The Phoenix Arms Raven hasn't been taken care of very well and I never shoot it. I don't know much about it and why the metal looks a little worn. Any info you have I would appreciate. I also am looking for a price check on this as well. I do know that it was made in 1991-1993. I don't know how many rounds this has but I've almost never shot it and have owned this for 12 years

Thanks,

DJ

Price check? The Glock probably 350ish.
The Raven- In all honesty if you load a full magazine in it you have doubled the value of the pistol.
Raven, Lorcin, Jennings,Bryco and another couple of brands I don't recall were all products from the same basic company. They were based out of southern California and produced one product: cheap, unreliable, poorly made, inferior material, unsafe and dangerous small caliber pistols. They were the subjects of many lawsuits and that is why so many different brand names from the same principle. He would get sued, lose, close the company and open another within a couple of weeks.
After one very tragic accident involving a 8 year old and his dad he became the subject of a Federal lawsuit which put him out of business in the firearms field permanently. These pistols are also the impetus for the banning of manufacture and sale of "Saturday Night Specials" which I believe was signed by Clinton.
Do yourself a favor and do not attempt to fire this weapon. They can fire unexpectedly due to poor design and inferior materials. I am dead serious, they are more dangerous to the shooter than to whatever is on the muzzle end.
The best thing you can do with it is save it for a "Gun Buyback" program that you will see law enforcement conduct. If you get 2 Nuggets tickets you have about a 1000% ticket to gun value.
There are too many good 22LR pistols out there to teach the Mrs with. Look at a Ruger MKIII, Beretta Neos, Smith and Wesson etc.

Yeah, just 1 mag. The other one cracked near the top at the range. I don't have the case or the paperwork with it.

I appreciate the info on the phoenix as well. It's nice hearing useful information on something like this.
