Meh not a fan. That video was cheesy like it was from the '80s

read the reviews huh[ROFL1]
There is so many forums on physics and the possibility of this weapon and if it is a hoax or not.
Seems to be NO working model at this time.

Well sorta. I thought it was a cheesy vid before I read some of tr reviews. It kinda reminds me of a mix between robo cop and that one movie from the '80s with Arnold, I think it's called Commando or something like that[Tooth]
Pretty sure the depiction of the satellite and saying "no recoil" violates Newtons third law, "For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction". That is, if you toss mass off your platform in space, the platform will move in the opposite direction with an equal amount of energy.
H.
But don't tell the aliens.
Their claims seem to violate Newton's laws of motion, you can't accelerate the projectiles to a useful level of energy without recoil. If the projectiles are supersonic, there WILL be sonic booms (cracks), so there goes their stealth claim. There will be a heat signature, or they are creating energy from nowhere. I call bullshit.

I wanted to see if this thing was real, so I looked it up using the USPTO database. It is real, it does exist. The patent was written up and submitted in 2000, it was accepted in 2003. Not an 80's video, just a cheap ass one! [ROFL1]

It uses centrifugal propulsion for its projectiles. It is like when you hold onto your kids and spin them, only in that case, the projectiles would be your kids and to "shoot" them (the projectile), you would just let them go at the right time and they fly at your target. On the inside of the thing there is a fast, really fast motor that spins and systematically releases the balls at the exact time it is supposed to so that they travel down whichever one of the openings it wants the projectiles too. It has a 360 degree range of fire.

It doesn't violate any laws now that I can see, just a different way of applying energy. The opposing force, or in its case, loss of mass is still transfered to the machine, but not in the same way since there is no linear force, so, there is no felt recoil. I don't know the top speed of the projectiles but it does allow the machine to slow its spin down and thus slow down the speed in which the projectile flys through the air. This is more of a mass destruction weapon using projectiles than a precise weapon which you can aim at small objects at a distance. The motor which spins does have to give off heat, the action of firing, or rather letting the projectile go, does not.

Yes it is, I agree completely. [ROFL1]
Funny, I started looking at all of the other patents that have to do with centrifugal weapons, and there are a lot of those out there.
yes , Ill agree the video is gay but its still a great idea and I still want one on my jeep. Hell Ill even take one set up as anti-air defense against the Aliens![LOL]

everyone OBVIOUSLY hasn't seen the two I have mounted on each of my trucks.
i have yet to run into a traffic jam since install[ROFL2]
