The Detroit Police Department today released surveillance video footage showing the rampage as Lamar D. Moore entered the Northwestern District station, shooting officers before he was killed in return fire.


The video is about 1 minute and 8 seconds and shows two angles of the police station -- the front door and the front desk, pointing toward the door.

Good thing, they were wearing Kevlars, and even better, these cops have GUNS to shoot back! All of these violence lately are fueling the anti gun folks' agenda.

Fast recovery to the injured officers.

lets be glad he was not using an ak, this would have the anti-gun folks going insane, and i am sure would have lead to dead officers.
glad bad guy is only one dead.

Damn such a tragedy. I hate that cops seem to be targeted lately. Going to make it rough for the rest of us in the long run.

Probably was bird shot or similar. Buckshot etc would have caused some deaths most likely. I'm sure the officers are getting shot picked out of various places, and hopefully didn't lose any eyeballs etc.

Wow that was really intense. Too bad stuff like this has to happen. At least all the Officers survived.

I think the fact that he raided a police station shows his intelligence. The same can apply on why the birdshot on the kevlar - Thank God!

Apparently he mistook pigs for birds. If he actually used buckshot things would have been a lot worse. Even if he didn't have to aim.

glad the officers are alive. in the second video the cop that made the final shot at point blank range got some fingers blown off.

hopefully they are having a speedy recovery. glad the perp is dead.
