AK Magazine Interchangeable?

Are all AK magazines interchangeable? There are many kinds out there, (european style, bulgarian, tapco etc.) will any 7.62 X 39 AK magazine work in a run of the mill WASR-10?

Ideally they should but there's usually a country or brand that your AK will prefer.

personaly i would stay away from the tapcos-i never had any luck with them
stick with te euro mags there cheap and practicly industructable

i usaly get those from copes but there out of the 20's
and CFS wont ship to NY and im not in the"forbidden zone"[Rant1]

The mags are in great condition. The pouches made my whole basement smell like mildew but are otherwise OK.

i had a few pouches like that,i hung em out on the clothesline for a few days and the smell went away

Bob is right (zteknik) stick with euros then chinese, though some people like the chinese the best. i have 3 chinese and they've never failed me yet but i still prefer my euros. for what it's worth, bear arms in windsor has a couple boxes of ne in the grease chinese mags for something like 8 bucks a pop, deffinitely worth it

go with Russian or Bulgarian, those two are the best
