Anybody have experience with one of these? Looking for a holster for my SA GI 1911 and the price tag on this one (http://www.desantisholster.com/store/SEARCH-BY-GUN-MANUFACTURER/SPRINGFIELD/GI45-FULL-SIZE-MIL-SPEC-1911-A1-5/INSIDE-THE-WAIST-BAND-HOLSTERS/sof-tucktm) is pretty attractive...

The price tag is VERY attractive, however concealing a full size 1911, is no easy or comfortable task when compared to the smaller pistols. That single belt clip is going to leave a lot of room for fore and aft movement, and it will place all of the weight of the pistol in that one location.

One of our forum members makes some sharp looking holsters, that are IMO the best design for concealing larger pistols, i've used the Comp-tac version for quite awhile now, and really enjoy it. Below is the link

Thanks for the info!
Those holsters are pretty cool... I really like those. Gonna find one to try on and then I think I just might pick one up.

Did you ever find a holster to fit your needs?

If you can't find one to try on and want to give one of mine a whirl I'll buy it back if you don't like it.

If you're ever down in Colorado Springs in the day they carry them at Bravo Arms (good excuse to check out a sweet store as well!), if you're down here at night I have some to try on as too. Let me know if I can help.

Not yet, I'm really leaning towards that holster you mentioned but haven't found one around here to try out yet.

Sounds good, I've been meaning to get down to the Springs to take care of some stuff... I'll shoot you a PM when I know I'm coming down and we'll work something out.

I have one that is exactly like that but made in polymer. The only thing I don't like about it is that with my full-size .45 it tends to pull my pants down unless I cinch my belt tighter than I'd like. Something about it being on the inside of the belt and the extra weight causes it. So, I went with one of these instead which works well and is comfortable on hot days that I want to carry full-size rather than my 380:
