I recently joined and thought I better introduce myself. I'm mostly into hanguns, target shooting and home defense but the owner of my local gun shop keeps talking to me about AR-15's so I think I'll be getting one soon.

Right now it's about ten degrees out and I shoot outdoors so I have a little time to look around the forum at the different variations of AR's and see what I really like. Looks kind of like a 1911 with all the different parts you can add.
