Darn near done now. Just need a gas tube and she will be ready to fire. Just need some sights or optics of some sort and she will be ready to fire and actually hit something.

I have mixed feelings on this subject. Part of me would like to run an Eotech or an Aimpoint with some flip-up back up sights. Another part of me wants to run something more traditional like a Nikon M223 scope and maybe put a set of Surefire "Rapid Transition Sights" on it for close up shots. I really don't know just yet what I really want to do. There is also a part of me that wants to keep things simple with a set of fixed iron sights with some tritium inserts and not run an optic at all.

Thanks for the charging handle!

Glad I could help. The charging handle should be thanking you. You saved it from spending eternity in my dusty parts bin. I feel your 'pain' on the optics. There's so many choices. That's why the Gun Gods created quick disconnect mounts. Barbies for Men!
