Mr. Grocer: [Marty and Grocer are shooting each other] Comrade! Comrade!
Marty: What?
Mr. Grocer: Why don't you just join the union, we'll go upstairs together and cap daddy!
Marty: This union, there's gonna be meetings?
Mr. Grocer: Of course!
Marty: No meetings.
[They continue shooting]

Just a idea, I have dealt with some pretty cool guys through selling some stuff, and thought it would be fun to BS and show off guns ect. Did mean to make crack at the Senior citizens. LOL. I think we should get together at Ginsue's house!?!?!?!

I am pretty new around here but personally I think that is a cool idea. It would be fun. I think it would be more fun for someone to try and rob our group if we got together. ;)

Better be careful if your gonna swap any gear- somebody might call it a "Gunshow" if more than 3 show up!
Absolutely a good idea- how bout a COAR-15 picnic in the park right next to the Governors Mansion[Muaha]

But seriously- it would be great to have a get together for all ages. I have met a bunch of the guys working on their items and would not be ashamed to tip a glass O Suds with any of them! Good Folks here.
I would also like to try again to see if we can pull off a meet and greet for all of the "Industry Parners" here as well as COAR member owned businesses. Can't think of a better way to network a bit and with some linking of websites it could be of benefit to all. We kicked it around a bit before the holidays but scheduling was an issue.

Like to try and pull it off- just gotta dial in everybodies schedules.

Gee thanks! I'm getting so dang old that they will probably be pulling my CO drivers license before long. Maybe some of you "kids" (guys under 65) will volunteer to haul this feeble old Fart over to the house of the Ginsue for the huge bash, it'd only amount to about a 300 mile round trip twice......[Tooth][Coffee]

Sounds good BP, I think you should spearhead this, since your sponsorship and all. I would say RSVP, with a PM then, a email from the meeting holder, or whatever. just so not nonmembers just show up.

I would definitely be up for this. I have met quite a few great folks at meet and greets for the 4x4 forums that I am on. Always a good time. If there is a gear/parts swap that would be even better!

I like the idea of a public place! With everybody open carrying! Till the fuzz shows up of course.

"Irving"- you go to time out! Don't you know we can't play dodgeball? Somebody might get hurt, we can't keep score because we are all "winners", we can't play games where somebody may be the victim of an attack, it has underlying violent tones yada yada yada........................Jeez- the insensitivity of you!

Yes, welcome to the Colorado chapter of AR-15's Anonymous. I'm Troublco, and I have a problem. The problem is, I don't yet own a .25 WSSM DTech AR upper. I'm working on my problem, but it's going to take a while and I just have to persevere. Oh, I also don't have a 9mm upper for my AR pistol yet. And come to think of it, I also still don't have a .20 Tactical upper, and I also want to get a LaRue OBR, and it'd be really nice to have a LWRC REPR, and........[ROFL1]

In Ginsues Basement?

How in the heck am I just seeing all of these posts?

This mod stuff has been limiting my available time in the General Discussion forums - has seriously cut down on the number of posts I make too (for some of you, this is a good thing).

Well, my basement looks like a hoarders cottage right now, but I'm just getting started with cleaning it all up and getting rid of stuff I should have tossed or sold a long time ago.

Perhaps we could meet in my basement by this summer, or.... We could meet up someplace like Fox & the Hound some evening.

Probably some place central to everyone in the state would pull the most people. The drive to the springs for the northern tier and vis versa can be a haul most don't want to take. Outskirts of the denver metro area is probably the easiest for everyone. Just a thought.

FYI:
Geographic center of the state for a weekend camping trip - etc...
Spinney Mtn. St. Park (http://goo.gl/maps/Z26e)
I'd be in for a Colo. SPgrings get together for a cold one or some such thing...

What about someplace in Monument/Palmer Lake? Northern El Paso county is easier for the Denver crowd.

Castle Rock. [Beer]

I'm up for a castle rock meeting, but the chances of it at my house are slim and none, and slim got whacked on east colfax last night. Seriously, kids everywhere, both parents full time college students, enough pets to qualify for a small pet store... I just can't fit everyone in the man cave. Any given form of homework from grade school to postgrad is libel to bust out at any moment in my house.

If something comes up where the rest of the insane asylum isn't around and it's in between semesters [ROFL1] I'd be up for it here. I'd even put in for a day off from work for it.

Probably for the best. My mom gets kinda ticked when I invite too many of my friends over to join me in the basement. [ROFL1] (I joke. No, honestly, it was a joke - my mom lives in K.C.)
