Hi everyone -

I just started looking for my first AR15 and came across this forum. Have looked at a few of the posts and looks like lots of great information! I have been to a couple Appleseed shoots with my 10/22 and now looking to get an AR. Hope to soon be a new owner!!

Well, if you're looking for your first AR, this is definitely the place to be.

We've got a lot of very knowledgable folks here on the site who are always happy to answer any questions you might have.

Keep in mind that the best way to enjoy and get the most out of this site is to participate in many of it's various forums and threads.

I'm going back for more :) Have made a few mods to my 22LR so it fits me better - adjustable stock. So I think that will help. I had a blast anyway - instructors are great! Just a fun weekend.

Careful with this bunch. If the "gal" part of "ARgal" means what I think it does you need to know we tend to be a bunch of perverts (then again, maybe that's just me) with potty-mouths (That's most of us).

If we offend you at all, just let us know (DISCLAIMER: No guarantees we'll be able to correct the behavior, but we can have fun trying.)

Definitely watch out for TroublCo. I think he's an escapee from the looney bin.

yep that's what it means and thanks for the warning - i'm sure you all aren't that bad though :)

regarding the other posts about getting bit with the bug - i think i have it already - can't wait to get my rifle done and get out to the range.
