Tried the search only pulled one thread and it did not answer my question.
I am getting ready to order a stripped lower online and don't know how to proceed. Do i need to let the FFL know i plan on having them receive the item or can i order and stop by and say hey i am shipping something to you? On the order form it has the billing and shipping address I know that i put my info for billing and imagine I put the FFL's in he shipping? Then the FFL needs to email or fax their info to the other company?

I would prefer to do something local so if anyone can get me a decent stripped lower for 80-90 bucks out the door let me know! I would much rather go that route.

Call Dave (panamadave). He handles my out of town dealings, and always comes through.

Edit: Hey mods could you move this to the proper area I posted in the wrong section.

Depends on the FFL and the dealer. Some FFL's have there's on file just about everywhere and you just order and go pick it up.

Some are a little more picky and may not have it on file with the seller. The best advise I can give is pick one and get to know them. Trust is the name of the game unless you only plan on buying a couple of firearms the rest of your life (yea, right).

Just a thought. :)

Ditto. There are FFL's closer to me, but Dave (ProTekt Solutions) has earned my trust over the years, and as long as he's willing, he'll do all my transfers.

+1 for RAR. Probably in stock, and great pricing.
