View Full Version : Interesting UFO

On Jan 28th, 4 separate groups of people video taped what appears to be a UFO hovering over the Dome of the Rock, in Jerusalem. The object is spotted high in the air, then descends slowly over the monument, then hovers for about 24 seconds. Then two bright flashes of light appear on the ground directly underneath the object, and it zooms straight up into the sky at amazing speed.
Now I'm not one for believing in little green men, but I do know we live in an amazing universe; and with the untold billions of stars in the heavens, and the countless planets surrounding them, I think it would be arrogant to think we are the only intelligent life out there.
This is some pretty incredible footage...especially seeing that it was independently taken by 4 different groups of people, on the same night, from 4 different vantage points overlooking Jerusalem, all seeing the same thing.
Anyway, judge for yourself...
Here are direct links to all 4 videos, with the best ones listed first...

I copied it from another site and don't know how to fix it-Sorry [Beer]
"We've seen 'em like this in Mississippi!!" HAHAHAHA.
Interesting, but with what I know about levels of technology, etc... I will never believe anything (of that sort) that I don't see with my own eyes. Easy to fake.

A well choreographed hoax.
I honestly think that it is pretty stupid that with as expansive as the universe is.. to think we are the only intelligent life..
While I've never seen a UFO.. They could exist.
People believe in 'God' I don't see why intelligent life on another planet is so far fetched.. Same theory..

It's not the same theory and I won't get into debating it. In my perspective, with what we know about how life as we percieve it and the theories of how we developed, it seems stupid to me to think that there are little green men out there.
Just a different perspective.

Odds are that other intelligent life exists. The odds of them being so far advanced than us that they are able to travel across great distances and discover us are infintessimally small.
And then there's the point that if they are advanced enough to reach here, why would they? We are hundreds if not thousands of years from that point and have nothing to offer.
I agree with Stephen Hawking in that we need to be the extraterrestrial life if the human race is to survive the long run. With all the planets and stars so far discovered and being more than likely empty, we have all the expansion and resource possibilities we should ever need.

Hmm interesting. I've seen some pretty interesting things myself. Not sure I would call them "ufo's" but they've made me wonder what technology is capable of, or if they're even human technology.

In reading some of the responses here, I think it is important to reiterate the definition of UFO.
A UFO is ANY Object, seen Flying or appearing to fly.
Thus the designation:
Unknown Flying Object
Now, Are they of Extraterrestrial origin?
Dunno.
I tell you what I Do know... a few more episodes of Ancient Aliens on the History channel and I Will be convinced.
A few matches, I Will go with Coincidence.
a few Hours of them and I Have to start believing something might be up.

I dunno.. why are we so fascinated with an ant colony? They're certainly not as intelligent as we are but how much $$$ and time have been spent studying them..?

Well then, how do you explain all the little brown aliens that are infesting this country ???

HAHAHA. I was just playing devils advocate. Seems like everytime this is something "unexplained" is has to be E.T.'s family or something and no one wants to look at terrestial means. Technology is amazing. (MIT students who made an invisibility cloak, UCLA grads who transported several atoms over 100 yards through a laser, etc)
As far as the brown aliens infesting the country... "Mars Attacks", kill 'em all, lol.
Byte's right, UFO != ETI
When it comes to ET, I think the Drake equation makes sense, and Wolfram|Alpha has the best way to understand it:
http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=drake+equation
You can adjust the values if they seem unlikely to you.

In the "close up" video, is anything in the background other than the UFO moving? Could it just be they took the above picture, blew up the brightness, and then simulated panning around the picture, retouched in the UFO, laid down audio. I can't find differences between that video and this background, no missing or additional lens-flare from lights.

point I was trying to make is, if you see something flying through the air, and you do not know what it is, it is technically classified as an unknown flying object.
This doesnt mean that it is of non terrestrial (Earth) origins.
it doesn't mean it isn't,
it just means its unknown.
as far as the question, "are we alone?"
I've seen way too much shit on SC and Hist to say that we are.
Most people cry coincidence and other things...
Just too much sometimes, Like THIS (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baghdad_Battery). OK, I Will go with the whole "Anyone could make those." argument.
But I Counter with.
"What in the fuck would anyone need with a Battery then?"
I am guessing next we will say its to power the time travelers iPhone (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gj3qesTjOE8)?
I think the vids are fake.

Fake. practically 15 minutes of work to do something like that in most video software programs. Could do a better job in after effects, the "flash" was very lame.
Not only that, if that was legitimate, it would make mainstream news, because everyone and their freakin' dog would have seen it, not just 4 people that frequent the same video editing chat/forum. Good real example is much like the contrail on the west coast (that people thought was a missile launch or a ufo, lol).
it was on the news

The amount of gforce present on that take off would certainly leave a lasting impression on any abducted human in that "ship"... hehe

Fascinated and curiosity peaked.
While I don't believe everything I hear or see, I certainly believe in the possibility.
I've seen and been privy to things that absolutely defy logical explanation.
Top all that off with the fact that I'm not arrogant enough to believe that my Creator only chose this planet to populate with intelligent life.

That pretty much says exactly what I think Ginsue ! I posted this originally because it is food for thought. Seems like all the info I'm reading since then has created the usual UFO debate about a hoax but it's interesting to say the least.

I understand skepticism for subjects like this (I generally am one, as well) but how can something like this be faked by numerous unrelated people at different spots around the area?
Didn't the IDF shoot down something over a nuke plant a few months back that they called a UFO.. I never saw anything beyond the initial report in the news.. it disappeared.
i guess what i never understood is why every "ufo" is believed to be alien. there are lots of things it could be and in general i think we sell humans short in their abilities. i would never say it can't be aliens because without proof one way or the other i don't think anyone should speak in those types of terms, but i would believe its something else before aliens.
I love Ancient Aliens.
i like that show. but i always find it funny that the "proof" the people always have is that "there is no way humans back then could have done this". oh really? i think we really cut humans short, including the ancient civilizations. its believed by some that had the library of alexandria not burned down, humankind would be 1000 years more advanced. that says something about the knowledge they had. or look at the fact that the mayans had a more accurate calendar than what we use today. seeing some big rocks that seem impossible to have been moved and thus meaning aliens must have helped is just insulting. ancient civilizations knew a lot more than we give them credit for.

Shows like Ancient Aliens, and that one device found in the ocean, further convince me that Humans haven't evolved for a good 3,000 years. It makes me laugh when I hear people tell me about how the human race is only at a certain level of evolution, according to some dumb book they read. Similarly, when people talk down about people of the past like they were all border line retarded compared to how smart people currently are(n't).

Me too I grew up in the valley, weird stuff happens. buddy from high schools ranch was one of the prime places for mutilated cows.

I'm torn both ways on this subject. If they do exist then who knows how old, or what kind of technology they have. Look at what we have been able to come up with in just the last 100 years.
And then there's the point that if they are advanced enough to reach here, why would they? To abduct retarded people. We are hundreds if not thousands of years from that point and have nothing to offer.

I'm not jumping on the UFO bandwagon but am rather inbetween. Hard to think that with all that space and countless stars and planets that life, or intelligent life couldn't exist. Till I see one land in my front yard or slap Obama's ass, I am just going to have to sit on the fence.
Interesting take on how life might exist or come into existance on other planets and our own. He starts talking about it at 1:45.

"well, it cant possibly be faked because how could these four people know each other when they are on opposite sides of the city"
LOL! Yeah I see your point, and I try to remain objective about stuff like this too. I am not basing my opinion on this video alone, or rather ANY video I have seen online. I just question our level of technology, or other possibilities based on what I've seen with my own eyes.
