FOX31 is saying it was some shooter that was using tracers.

Somebody should wring that idiots neck for making us look bad. How can you hear the news about the extreme fire danger and then go to the forest to shoot burning bullets and not figure out that was a bad idea? What a maroon.

 I nominate this jackass to be the target holder at the next shoot.

I also saw that report. Fox 31 news at 9pm last night I think?

They also reported that witnesses say it was a couple with an AK-47 ASSAULT RIFLE!! (evil) and that while shooting tracer rounds is compeltely legal, shooting them in or around a National Forest is not.

It only takes one person to screw things up for everyone. :x :x :x

I had the impression that it was farther up the canyon closer to Jamestown, than that one place We went and cleaned up last Year. Is there another Range up there?

You may be right. And I just checked that link to Mr. Dove's page and there aren't detailed directions. Sorry.

I've heard some sketchy stories about that area so I haven't been there in a long time and I don't know exact directions.
