We're all f*****-up to a certain extent but...this cat continues to demonstrate participation in unique fatal or near fatal circumstances. I presume another "pass" is coming his way on this one too? Unsure how I'd be livin' if I had that same silver spoon shoved up my ass at birth but...I'd hope to do a little better than this!

Reported by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch;

[~7 weeks ago] "...the 27-year-old woman found dead at the mansion of former Anheuser-Busch chief executive August Busch IV had cocaine and the painkiller oxycodone in her blood,..."

"...he had been in rehabilitation early in 2010 for depression and "my other issues,..."

"In 1984, a woman, 22, was killed in the crash of a car driven by Busch in Arizona after they had left a bar. Busch was found six hours later at his home, dazed and bloodied with a skull fracture, and said he had amnesia. He was not charged in that incident."

"[1985] "Busch led a chase in which undercover St. Louis police in an unmarked car shot out a tire on his Mercedes-Benz. They claimed he nearly ran down two officers; he claimed he thought he was fleeing kidnappers. Busch was acquitted by a jury of three counts of assault.

Why do the upper class always get away with shit? I can't even get out of a damn parking ticket and he walks away from all that?

I'm sure truckloads of "complimentary" beer to the right people helps a little.

I'm not old and I've been saying that my whole life. I came from poor money but a majority of my friends are/were very well off (lived in mansions, first cars were 700 series, got anything they wanted, went to MIT, Yale, Harvard, etc). There is a huge difference to the life you can/want to have with or without money. People say you make your own life. I agree to a point. A small point. I've done pretty damn well with what life has given me (except these student loans, lol). However, if you have the money, you can do anything. Yes, anything.

I may be cynical, but I've seen the rich kids get let go on scene for a DWI while other friends were locked up among many other incidents.

Jesus looked around and said to his disciples, “How hard it is for the rich to enter the kingdom of God!”

The offspring of riches: Pride, vanity, ostentation, arrogance, tyranny.

I don't think you guy's realize how many "poor" guys get away with the same crap.

Over the years I've known more "shady characters" than I care to admit ... most of them get away with their crimes just as often as Kennedys do (if not more-so since there's no negative business or social consequences for being accused of crimes). Thing is when Bubba is found in a questionable situation its at best a blurb in the back of the paper ... when a rich guy is found in a questionable situation it makes the front page and leads the evening news.

The reality is that Bubba is probably MORE likely to get away with crime because Officer Friendly is more afraid that Bubba will just up and shoot him in the face more than Daddy Warbucks will.

Its not about "rich people get away with more than poor/middle class do". The truth is the system just comes down harder on good people and lets repeat offenders off too lightly.

I cringe whenever I see self proclaimed freedom loving people (and one assumes gun owners are freedom loving) engage in the same class warfare rhetoric as the leftists that would like to be our overlords ... makes me feel like they're winning.

Furthermore I still don't understand why anyone would need to drink Budweiser anymore ... the microbrew revolution started more than two decades ago, there are plenty of better options.

I agree %100. I know of plenty of non-rich people that get by breaking the law. They just don't get the press coverage unless they do something really outrageous.
