Smith And Wesson's New M&P Pistol

I am a Glock owner and at the recent Crossroads show i saw the new
S&W M&P Pistol, does anyone have one of the new pistols and what are your thoughts. It seems to have alot of nice features and would consider purchasing one as a second pistol.

I've been following a thread on them over on ARFCOM and the response from those that've actually handled/shot them is fairly positive:

A group did an evaluation using shooters with a range of experience

They had never handled the S&W but were all familiar with the Glock platform

They saw about a 10% increase in scores

Supposedly the mag disconnect is easy to remove

I was at the Firing Line last Saturday and an S&W rep was there with a line of guns on hand. To my surprise, I saw that they make an AR-15.. Anyone seen or shot one of theses?

It's a 100% CMT built AR. There's nothing special about it being marked a S&W. You might as well buy a Stag and save some money.
