After much consideration I bought an Eotec XPS2-2 for my PS-90. Primary uses home defense, fast coyote shots and close range (under 250) prairie dogs. I really liked the idea of having two dots for longer range shots.

The info about the dot spacing is lacking in my opinion. I saw a diagram on sniper hide that put the second dot at 9.7 MOA. So today I sighted in @ 20 yds on the bottom dot. Then moved to 67 yds (based on ballistics program). Zeroed top dot @ 67 yds. After the 67 yd zero, shot a basketball sized rock at 300 yrds using the bottom dot.

SO during the sighting in session I noticed the "dot" size seemed to be larger than the 1 MOA as advertized, and that the dot spacing maybe more than 9.7 moa.

Back at the house I took the ps90 to the shop for some reticle measurements. I wanted to find out how far apart the "dots" are and If the ring was 65moa. Set up the gun on a table in the gun vise and put a grade rod on the wall @ 30' then at 60'. I could not see the marks on the rod thru the reticle so I used 10x nikon bino's as a magnifier. Both set of measurements I came out with 10.8 MOA spacing on the dots. The ring I came out with different measurements at 30' and 60'. I think the 60' measurements were more acccurate and measured 64.8 MOA at the outside of the circle and 55.8 on the inside of the circle, average of 60.3 at the center to center of the circle.

The dots measured 3.6MOA, not the 1MOA as advertised. This was apparant @ 67 yards as the dot covered my 2" target.

The reticle is fuzzy with no magnification as I expected. Looking thru the reticle in the shop it appears the ring and the dots are generated in different ways. The ring is like a dot matrix. The dots have lines thru them like the outer lines of a finger print. The dots also looked more like a square with tails off of the lower corners. The right corner having more of a tail than the left.

Overall Sight is great. I did not expect to be able to use it as a long range scope. But with the second dot it will work to 300 and beyond.

Hopefully some live target testing later this week.
