Mountain House Group Buy!

Not sure if anyone here stocks up on Mountain House meals. Broadsword and Dijon have moved their group buys over to WarRifles after some apparent ugliness on ar15.com.

I usually order a few hundred $$ worth of food but not enough for the free shipping. I'd love to combine my order with someone for the shipping bonus if anyone is willing.

I wouldn't mind swapping #10 cans either. A case of #10 cans has 6 cans and its nice to do some swapping with friends for food variety.

I'll reproduce broadswords original post here for the sake of showing all his information and the prices that he posted. You'll have to go over to the WarRifles forum to read the full post and to sign up for the buy. These folks did 5 or 6 group guys over on the AR15 forum before moving.

I did some price comparisons at some point and found them to be about 50% of retail prices. I presume it is still about the same.

Quick run-down/process of the Group Buy:Look over the price sheets, email your order to me, at the cut-off date for me to receive orders - TBA, I will contact Mtn House and receive shipping/confirmation totals for each individual order (orders over $500 receive FREE shipping!), I will then email you with your total amount due, then you send payment to me by the cut-off date for payments - TBA, I then send one wire transfer to Mtn House and they drop ship the orders to your front door. A suggestion to those of you who aren't able to order over $500 worth of food - contact other members (friends/family members) that live by you to see about combining shipping. Several people on past buys did this and saved that much more!!!

We are looking at starting this group buy around the 25th of April (please don't send me any orders before then!!!!!!!!). We don't have any definite cut-off dates set, but as soon as we do, I will edit this first post to reflect those dates.
