Pass, for that kind of cash you can get better optics

I was looking at that one at first and then spent a little extra on the BARSKA 6-24x40 IR 3G, POINT BLACK, .223 B.D.C., I think it was worth it for the markings for 50, 55, and 62 gr bullets and also the three different colors for the illumination. There could be more settings for the illumination but seems to be addequate for what I need. Overall it seems to be of decent overall quality but we will see since I have yet to mount it and fire it but we'll see.

I had this Barska on a few 50's.
Put it recently on my 338LM.
It finally died.
They are sending me a new one at no charge, I even got to choose the model.

I just bought a Barska spotting scope. It's the "barska benchmark water proof spotting scope 25-125X88" and I got it for just over $100. Tried it out on Monday and it works well at 100 yards. The legs on the stand are a bit flimsy as is the carry case but all in all a good buy IMO.

Which one were you using? I'm spending a lot on my next rifle build and want to get it shooting without saving up for a 1500$ piece of glass, I was looking at the 6-22 swat series. havent really looked into then that in depth, but how is the windage/elevation adjustment? would they necessitate any more cant on a .338 then a 20MOA to get you out to 1000?

I don't have one of their scopes but I do have one of their binoculars that I use quite a bit and they are good quality. Based on that I would buy scopes from them.

It is a SWAT one.
If you are going to use a 20 MOA base you will not be able to zero at 100 yds, not enough adj on elevatio.
This is mainly due to the 1/8 adj.
Other than that I am happy with it!

seem like a good deal for the price, I probably wont be shooting less then 350 with it anyway.
