Well, I got my first gun, a Springfield XD 9mm Subcompact. So far, I love it! Now, I just need a few spare minutes to get a couple boxes of 9mm and then a morning or afternoon to take it out and see how it runs!

I bought it from Freedom First Firearms on 70th and Broadway. They're really nice guys, have a nice store, and were very professional and courteous. Mazin had suggested I take a look at their store, and he even called for me. They gave me a discount for a referral from him / being a CO-AR forum member.

Congrats, I love mine. Adding a Pearce extension to the smaller mag is nice too

Congratulations. Let us know how you like it when you get around to firing it.

Thanks, I've been eyeing one of those Pearce grip extensions. How would it affect concealability? Does it make the grip stick out any more than it would otherwise, or sine the extended part would be down, does that not matter?

I was also thinking of making and installing a couple of these around the house for in-home concealment. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d9mPlW6au9c&feature=related Instead of putting it in the drawer of the night stand (mine doesn't even have a drawer actually, it has a cubby-hole kina thing), I'd rather install this on the back of the night stand and move it a couple inches away from the wall. Or under the bed frame. Until I get a shotgun, that is. [Clays]

I had an XD9SC for a while and liked it. Quite the little flame thrower. [UZI]

The grip extensions make the grip more comfortable bit they can also cause your XD to print a little more depending on how you carry it.

Well, I took my fiance out and we shot 50 rounds through it. Not NEAR enough to have some fun and get a good break-in on it, but man it shoots good! I need to work on my point of aim though. My fiance loved it! We also shot a guy's old .38 special revolver and it was nice too. Apparently the wheel goes the other direction that normal wheel guns go, so it was some kind of special gun or something. Very positive experience. Need to buy more ammo! hahaha
