If you do, whoever does your web customer needs help.
I live way out east and dont have a home phone. I have to go outside with the cell and hope for the best. Most of the time, I miss half the conversation...or its dropped.

So, I emailed RMSS the 11th of February, and my wife emailed again on the 14th. Still no response. What the hell is wrong with a company who doesnt respond to emails? If you have a website and you have a spot for someone to contact you through that website, you need to respond.

That is my Rant for the day.

What I want is to use my Seize the Deal vouchers all at one time. The vouchers say one voucher per person per visit. I understand. But, their website states "We are NOT a sports super store with cold customer service and unmovable store policies."

So, I told them I live 100 miles roundtrip and would like to buy a spotting scope. NO response. If they wont let me, fine. But, to not respond, just unprofessional. I will let everyone I know, know of my experience.

I bought 3 of their certificates and used them for 9mm reloading stuff; dies, bullets, powder, primers.

They were willing to let me use two of them at once but I had misprinted on and so I didn't have the right one with me.

The lady said the main reason they didn't want people using them all at once was because they didn't want to let an expensive scope go out the door for half price. I'm assuming she meant a rifle scope vs a spotting scope.
But...the scope you want may fall into that category.

If you want, I could call them and get back to you by email.

Have you looked at any cellphone boosters? Some phones support external antenna.

AT&T offers a product called Microcell or Mcell, if you have decent internet speeds this acts as a miniature cell phone tower for your house. You can authorize up to 5 phones to use it.

i would understand if they wanted to stick with the policy. but, I cant understand why they wont return emails. they have a "contact us" button. If they wont let me use them on one item, I could definetly find plenty to buy. I need another rock chucker, an 8 pound varget, a backup magnetic scale. and so on.

But, I would like to buy a spotting scope.

You sent them email, you have internet access... use Skype and just call them. It works just like a regular phone. I used it all the time to talk to my bro when he was overseas.

It does suck that they won't return emails though...

att doesnt work anywhere near here. i am researching the antennas and boosters. we are due to renew our contracts, so we thought about switching, but nobody else is here. The microcell version on verizon says it hooks to your phone line. we dont have one, i think thats what it said. our internet is ethernet. it uses the dish to bounce it off a water tower about 7 miles west of here. (skybeam). i am definetly up for buying an antenna if I can figure out which one for sure.

but, i will be honest. i hate hate hate talking on the phone. so, i would probably still email. it works better for me. i can think as i am typing, instead of just getting pissed at whoever. I can think out my questions and or answers. then they can read it, figure out any answer and then get back to me. its much more efficient for me.

I am guessing you have a Satellite internet?

as an FYI... these are HORRID for skype/VoIP or other real-time internet applications.
I have seen 1700ms hops across a commercial sat
Only use if there is absolutely NO other options.

Just a heads up before you go signing up for something.

I sent Byte Stryke a text message today, but his AT&T coverage must have lost it. ;)

i tried skype a couple years ago. it was like talking on my cell phone. it was terrible. with terrible lag and you talk over the other person. forget it.

what I want is an antenna for verizon, then get an iphone or droid, use it as a mobile hot spot for my home computer (if you can do that all the time). then cancel my internet.

So, I emailed on the 11th and twice since. I had a friend email. And still no response. What a shitty company. IF you have a website, and a place to email. THEN YOU NEED TO RESPOND TO EMAILS. TRY BEING PROFESSIONAL.

I will never shop there again after this. I called yesterday and asked about reloading presses. I was told by the woman who answered, she didnt know about them. Ok, "so have you gotten any instock" her "well when was the last time you were in?" me "10 days or so" her "i didnt see anything new". she never offered to get someone who had a clue. WTF.
