My boy got a wood stock set for his old Mossberg but we need the forend tightened more. Can someone help us out in the Springs? Need the special tool to get it done.

Short of having the proper wrench-find a piece of conduit or pipe that will slide over the magtube and is long enough to clear the end. Mark where the "spuds" need to be to engage the nut and cut away the conduit about 1/4 inch in from the end, leaving the "spuds". Dress with a file to engage the nut and drill a 1/4" hole through the conduit on the other end so you can use a phillips screwdriver to turn it.
The conduit is plenty strong to snug the nut down, you don't need to Gorilla tighten it.

You now have a Mossberg forend nut wrench.[Beer]
