So I am walking the gunshow this morning (around 11:15) and BAM! Someone discharges there firearm at the weapon check-in area! I was halfway to the back of the building (with my 15 month old in the stroller). I don't think that I will share this story with my wife.
I have been attending shows since the mid-80s and have never had something like that happen.

There were a couple of rumors that were going around one was that the weapon manfunctioned while he was unloading... my thought on that was what in the hell was anyone walking into a building with ammo in their firearm? I pull everything out of the weapon at home or at the very least out in the parking lot before coming in. I would rather have an AD in the floor boards of my truck and into the ground than in a building full of people. Oh yea and like me they were saying that he was there with a kid in a stroller!
-We was escorted out of the building.
I did not see anying on the news about it, thank God. This is something that I am sure they would have liked to smear gun owners with.

Yeah, we were there, too. Had just walked in, paid & were looking at the first tables off to the right as you come in...POW!!!
We check ourselves, scan the front for the shooter's location, determine he's not covering anyone else and then see the very guilty, sheepish look on both his and security's faces.
We heard he was pulling a compact Glock out of his back pocket to let security check it, when something he did caused it to discharge, lodging the bullet IN HIS WALLET.
Other info indicated that L.E. was called after he, his wife & baby in the stroller were escorted out the building. He was cited & wifey was said to be 'histerical' mad/upset/angry at him. Bet it sucks to be him right now.

There was several tables there with body armor for sell. Maybe I should buy a set and outfit me and my baby at the next one show...
Did something to discharge the weapon?
Like pull the trigger with his finger.

Damn!!
We were there Sat. afternoon, pretty boring, we called it the knife show. :)
yeah i was there saturday also, with money to spend. i left with 2 25rd mags for my 10/22. pretty much a waste of 6 dollars if you ask me. there were more knives and other junk than guns, not even that much gun related stuff. anyone know of any good gun shows coming up? i was sertoma a while back and liked that one.
