I stumbled onto this site surfing the internet just after I got my AR-15 and So far I think it's better than most. Good people from the greatest State in the Union. One thing that I find here that I haven't ever been a part of yet , Is the Club Shoots. I'm hoping to make it to the next one for sure. I'm telling all my Black Rifle Buds about this site and one of them has joined recently, I haven't seen him online yet . He must be shy or just lurking around out there. Anyway I'm learnig as much as I can. And I'm enjoying reading some of the threads. Larry

Local group, other choice seems to be ar-15.com, but they are so big it's out of control, and paid membership for high level access is insulting coming from an online forum. I like the idea of the monthly shoots, I'll try to get to one.

being truthful I like the monthly shoots and the fact everybody is very knowledgeable and always willing to help another member out. We all come from different back grounds and have knowledge in different area's.

In short unlike Arf.com nobody here tries to blow smoke up your arse. We are one big happy family that likes to shoot what more could you ask for. :D

As far as IM's the only thing they are good for on this site is to give private information. Want to trade phone #'s ect. other wise I can say what I think for everybody to see. :wink:

What keeps you here?

The people and the local atmosphere of it. I like having local people to shoot with, talk to, hang out with, etc. While there may be more activity on global boards (Glocktalk, etc), there tend to be very few local people on boards of that size. Plus I like shooting other people's guns at our shoots. ;)

What keeps you here? The personal interaction between members and the monthly shoots.

Idea: If you want more traffic, let more people know its here. Sell t-shirts to members at a fair price (make em cool). Members will wear them to gun shows, gun shops, and shooting events.. (a walking billboard)

I would have been here much sooner if I would have found it earlier.

Evreyone has been real friendly. This is one of the best shooting organizations that I have joined. I always look forward to shoots.

I was brought here From the PA site after looking for AR15 sight in targets.

I came here from someone's (Lancelot/bbadmin?) sig in the CO HTF on ARFcom.

I joined as soon as I found it, pretty much right when I started getting into shooting.

I stay cause everyone lets me shoot their cool toys and 2 of my toys are from people here or people here pointing out other people's posts.
