I have an issue that after reading threads for two days, I can't seem to find and an answer to. I just recently acquired a 922r compliant Polish AK47 under folder. The problem as I see it is this. With the stock in the folded position the over all length of the gun is just over 25". So if I understand the law doesn't the overall length have to be a minimum of 26" long when it is capable of being fired. The barrel itself is over 16" and therefore legal. I have seen a number of these for sale on the internet and no one has mentioned that they would possibly be a NFA. Even with the slant brake in place it is short of 26", and the slant brake is not permanently attached. Should I be looking for a longer muzzle brake and a way of permanently attaching it. Not real excited about changing the look of the gun. What are other people doing? I disassembled the gun and separated the parts just to be safe storing it until I know. Just looking for some opinions.
Thanks
