Colorado Springs Gun Show coming --

On March 12th and 13th, the Prospectors Sertoma GUN SHOW will take place at the Event Center at Rustic Hills, located at 3960 Palmer Park Blvd in Springs. The Organizer told me that the last show was a total sell out of tables and this one is expected to be the same. Just today I paid for two wall tables for this show so hope some of my fellow Colorado AR-15 Shooters members will show up with money to buy some of the stuff that I really need to get rid of. Plan on having a lot of once fired brass, ammo, miscellaneous "stuff" and a bunch of guns (but I can't list anything here). Anyone currently thinking of attending this show???

Well, so far it looks only like our fellow CO AR-15 Shooters from the Colorado Springs area are going to try to make this show. Hope some of the guys from the Pueblo and Denver area can find the time to make it to this NEW show.

Any of you Colorado Springs guys know of a decent motel with REAL reasonable rates somewhere near this gun show location??????

I don't have any of those things but hope you do have good luck finding them at this show. I'll have a little sign showing "Blaster" on my table so be sure to stop by and at least BS for a minute and who knows, I may even have something that you can use right on my humble little table....

Well, WTH do you expect this ancient OLD Fart to have for sale. [Tooth][Tooth]

I'll have some ammo, empty once fired brass in Cal's .308, .30/06 and .223 along with some guns, some miscellaneous ANCIENT crap, more than enough very desirable gun/shooting related items to fill up two tables. Even have some already primed - once fired brass. Can't really give specifics such as exact items and prices here..... If you make the long drive all the way from Denver, just be sure to bring enough cash to haul a heavy load of purchases back North with ya. I do NOT want to have to haul a whole lot of "stuff" back home with me.[BooHoo]

Thank you there is some light out there. I stopped going about 3 months after Obama got elected. Havent been since, the prices for the most part seem super inflated still. But if Blaster has some good deals on brass I might be able to head out to it. Either way good luck to all the sellers and guys still looking to get a deal.

Background checks - not on all of them. So far C&R firearms are exempt from the blasted background checks for Colorado C&R holders selling to Colorado residents AND extremely little paper work on C&R's so far. Just so happens that I do have two (2) C&R eligible - FR8's in .308. Very desireable little guns and are in a great caliber too. Check em out tomorrow or Sunday - if they last that long.

Good deals on brass - damn tootin. I am truthfully selling this stuff for actually less than I have in it. I do NOT want to have to haul any of this brass back home with me on Sunday. I'll have .223 military and commercial, .308 military LC and LC MATCH with some LC MATCH primed and ready to load, .30/06 military and commercial, even some .30/06 MATCH brass. Remember, I want to get rid of this stuff at damn near what I think is almost giving it away. Will also have factory ammo (9mm , .45ACP, .223 and some 7.62X39) that I will be selling too. Please help me get rid of this stuff. Come early and bring an ample supply of money.

Well, I drove 2 1/2 hours to set up my 2 tables and so far, it WAS worth the trip for ME. Everyone (almost everyone) wants stuff absolutely dirt cheap and when I'm in the aisle side of the show, I also want stuff at the cheap. Hopefully tomorrow will generate more sales than today or I am going to quite gunshows all together. I do only have a table perhaps once a year or so and I sure need to liquidate a bunch of stuff. Most folks who bought stuff from me actually thanked ME for selling at super prices. [Beer]

well I might have to make a trip that way tomorrow. I don't really expect dirt cheap but I don't expect to pay more for it that i would at the larger chain stores. This is even more important when you pay a fee to get in the door. I can walk into sportmans warehouse for free. I know there are still a few guys out there that bring good deals. It just depends on if that's what your after. Hopefully I'll see you there tomorrow

Regular SKS'S for $325 - $350 at the show, they are on crack! I just put a SKS-M on layaway at Specialty sports for $359 that takes AK mags. And Specialty is the highest priced store in town.

The table next to BlasterBob did have a nice S&W 4026. At $550 I didn't even talk to them about it.

As indicated earlier, in the next couple days, I am going to place an ad of some type down in the TRADING POST, Firearms Accessories, here on this site in an effort to get rid of the empty brass that I was not able to sell at the show. I did manage to sell quite a bit of my brass as quite a few shooters realized and appreciated that my brass was at a dang near give away prices. Watch for my upcoming ad.............Thanks again!!

Surely someone, who regularly attends the Colorado Springs gun shows, would recognize who that vendor is/was. He is an older chap who ALWAYS wears a leather kepi (Civil War style cap). [Help]

I finally talked to someone at Seratoma today, not Sylvia or Eldon, they weren't around.
The fellow said they did not have the layout for the March show anymore. So, now I have an excuse to go to the April 30 show.
