So I dug around and found some leather and whatnot.
For never having stitched or sewed anything other than minor repairs on a couple saddles and such, I think I did pretty good.

I have a free, old, leather belt that is all stretched out that has your name on it. You could probably cannibalize the buckle and make your own, better belt.

My 1st holster I made was for my 44 Cap & ball when I was 10! That looks SWEET. Cow hide or other?? Elk / Deer? [Beer]

Not sure what the hide is, but its fairly soft and the color looks great on my rifle IMO.
My buddy wants me to make him one for his rifle.... anybody here want one while I'm at it?

Finally got around to making that one for my buddy. Need to get better at stitching but I think it came out pretty good. Put his initials, DCL in it.
