I like shooting my .45's and 9's, but I still think the fun starts here:

I enjoy shooting the .22's, but overall enjoy shooting .9's, .40's and .45's. Most of all .40's.

At some point I'd like to pick up a Marlin 981T. There is just something about a bolt action and cheap ammunition.

If anyone has any idea on .22lr bolt action rifles under $200, I'm interested in recommendations.

I like those Marlin's too. Looks like they're under $200 http://store.prairiearms.com/store/product/104075/Mar-981T-22Cal-B-A-Tube-Feed/

The Buckmark that I own has seen so much ammo that the barrel is starting to pean over from the slide hitting it. Very few jams mostly ammo related. My MP5.22 is my second favorite if I could ever get it dialed in that is.

I picked up a Savage MK-II used for $100 delivered from Louisiana. I love it. needs a new scope, but it's good to go.

That right there is the God's honest truth.

love the .22!!! Some of the best memories shooting have been with a .22 and I can't wait to start teaching the grand nephews and my grandson this summer. One of the grand nephews just found out about a week ago that its his time to start and you would have thought it was Christmas all over again for him. He and I have been waiting for the ok from my niece to start and we finally got it. [HiFive][Ban3] He will be starting out on a Savage single shot and then a Marlin model 60 and then who knows from there. Cant wait

I just picked up my first 3 22's this weekend. I got a crickett for my 7 year old, a glenfield model 70 for 65 bucks, and an almost new P22 for 160. Not too shabby, tore the two used ones all the way down and cleaned them, can't wait to take my kiddo shooting!

Stone, you can pick up a crickett for a hundred! [ROFL1]

I've considered a crickett. Has anyone put an adult stock on one of the youth models? Does anyone have any thoughts about other stock options for a crickett?

Single shots certainly have a way of making me slow down and concentrate on each round. Always a good thing.

I have a Taurus 9 shot 22lr revolver. Cool little gun. I bought it for the wife and kids to have something to do if they were to join me at the range and not like the "real" guns!

What I use it more for is training . . . I randomly load 3 to 5 rounds and then have the person shoot it and watch for flinching.
I WANT a P22 . . . but haven't picked one up yet. Of course I have a 22 rifle as well. They're all fun and very cheap to shoot. [Coffee]

Browning Buckmark pistol and Buckmark rifle. red dots on both. I have owned the pistol for quite a few years. It has tons of rounds down it but is still super accurate , runs and runs. The rifle is nice because everything is in the same place as the pistol and all the mags work in both.
